What is the HPSA App
The HPSA app does not need to be downloaded from an App Store. It uses the latest web-based technology, which allows for a more robust and customizable experience because the app does not need to be downloaded to run on the device and it does not require frequent phone-compatible updates. Web apps are accessible anywhere from any device with an internet connection.
The HPSA app is a club-wide management platform. Administrators can manage player registrations, team placement, schedule imports and more. Coaches can access all of the teams they coach and their game schedules from one place. Teams can operate independently with all of the necessary functionality they have used in other team apps.
Club Management
The HPSA app is a club-wide management platform that streamlines each process between gathering the information provided in an original club inquiry form through distributing detailed schedules and field maps to each player, coach and club official throughout the season.
Team Management
The HPSA app is used by teams to complete and upload registration documents, communicate through chat messaging, enroll in new-message notifications on their devices, mark attendance for events, view schedule information, see field maps and more.
Installation
In your browser, open https://app.hpsocceracademy.com/ and follow these steps.
Setting up an account
When you set up your account for the first time, select “Set up”. Login information is based on the player’s registration information.
Username: email address associated with your player’s registration
Password: you create your own password
Profile Settings
Profile settings, located at the top of the lefthand dropdown menu, are initially populated by the club inquiry form. The guardian information determines the login email as well as is where club communications are sent.
Attendance
Parents and players can enter attendance for games and tournaments for coach roster planning purposes.
FAQs
I cannot open the HPSA app. It is a white screen, or it gets stuck. What can I do?
Since the HPSA App is web-based, your wifi and browser can impact the app’s performance. We recommend turning off wifi to make the app download more quickly, and to waiting for a few seconds for the items you wish to see to download before closing. Logging out and logging back will ensure that you have any recent updates, if your app had been left open.
Can I download the HPSA app from the App Store?
No. The HPSA app is not available in an App Store. Web apps are accessible anywhere from any device with an internet connection.
How can I download the app so I can click on it from my device or desktop?
Yes. Once you set up your account and log into the app for the first time, click on the small, white HPSA shield logo on the bottom righthand side of the screen to create a shortcut on your phone’s homepage. This will appear like an app you would download from the App Store on your phone, tablet and/or desktop.
Can Mom, Dad, Nanny, Grandma all use the app?
Yes. However, the master account holder must invite additional users. That feature is found in “Settings”.
But, does the app recognize the new device for alerts?
When the app sees a new device, it will prompt the new user to save the icon to that device on phone, tablet and/or desktop and ask the new user to authorize chat notifications.
How can I be sure I’m receiving all club communications?
Regardless of app credentials, all guardians associated with the player’s account will receive club emails and texts based on the information in the player’s profile. If you are not receiving club communications, contact HPSA Support at support@hpsocceracademy.com.
