Our mission:

The goal of the HP Soccer Academy is to provide quality professional training in a positive environment that will develop state championship winners during their HPISD school years. We take the time to develop players in our school district. Some coaches at other clubs take the easy way , to win quickly at any cost, and just recruit players from anywhere. After all to play for HPISD you must live in the district. HPSA is the only club in North Texas to have these components in place and as a priority for their players:

• The Academy has taken the holistic view of developing players based on the successes and curriculum development of countries like Holland, Brazil, Spain and England. The coaching staff of the Academy has been hand picked with long term development and education of our players as the priority – all done under the scientific support and research of the Positive Coaching Alliance.
• In 2004 the Academy was formed by request of former HPHS Varsity Coach Beal Pumphrey and, even though the Academy has evolved significantly over the  years, the premise remains the same: to continually build the HPISD school programs by having the players of the Park Cities playing together and training together. And to help make soccer a priority in the district.
• Our coaching staff, coach for coach, are some of the strongest (both in practice, credentials and certifications from soccer professional and educational bodies) in the country. As we continue to attract unique coaches from the North Texas area who are development driven (not win at all cost coaches), the strength of our curriculum from technical, tactical and mental components will continue to develop for the benefit of all players and parents.

It is our goal to have very competitive teams at all age groups and your player joining HPSA will only enhance our ability to do so and we, in return, will give your player the opportunity, tools and instruction to blossom as a young soccer player.
