PLEASE NOTE: Uniforms suppliers discontinue uniforms every 2 years, so players must re-order every 2 years. HPSA’s current uniform style began in the Fall of 2023.
HPSA Jersey Numbering Policy
HPSA assigns each team jersey numbers. To avoid duplicating jersey numbers in cases where younger players “play up” with the older team(s), HPSA’s jersey numbering policy is to assign even/odd year jersey numbers based on roster limits. For example, 17G players receive jersey numbers 1-14, and 16G players receive jersey numbers 15-28.
Roster limit sizes are based on the number of players on the field:
- 4v4 – maximum roster size of 8
- 7v7 – maximum roster size of 14
- 9v9 – maximum roster size of 16
- 11v11 – maximum roster size of 18
- U15 – maximum roster size is 22
Uniform (Kit) Requirements
These are to be purchased at Not Just Soccer (NJS) and while ordering online is available, for first-time purchases, we strongly recommend going into NJS to try on the uniforms and warmups because, we have learned, players may need different sizes for tops and bottoms, especially with the game warmups.
- White (home) and Navy (away) jersey with patch and number.
- White and navy socks.
- Navy short for both games and practice. We recommend at least 3 pairs.
- Navy practice jersey with “Scots Soccer”. We recommend at least 2.
- Warmups for cooler weather.
- Backpack embroidered with something recognizable to the player. Please consider adding something to the backpack to help the player quickly distinguish it from others’ when leaving the field.
Also required, but not included in the order links:
- Shin guards
- Cleats
- Black and white tights and long-sleeved undershirt for cold weather.
- Water bottle
- Ball Sizes:
K to 2nd grade – Size 3, 3rd to 6th grade – Size 4, 7th to 12th grade – Size 5
